Im running an eVGA 7600GT, the 590MHz build, OCed a bit. S-Video out to my television. It's a fairly new TV with the somewhat flat/wide-screen. Looks like the aspect is close to 1:1, but not close. And the curvature of the screen is impossible to see unless you stand to the side and search for it.
I'm trying to configure my TV video without cutting off too much. I chose the settings to keep the original aspect, etc. But when im watching these videos(xvid, h.264, etc) it sucks, basically. Bottom, top, and sides are cut off. And instead of keeping the widescreen aspect on these h.264's, it stretches it so the video looks retarded. This is a pain when watching anime since the characters look ignorant, and the subs are cut off often.
I put in the registry key to unlock the full version of the configurator joint too.
