ok, Do I really need thermal paste for my cpu? I read somewhere that you have to.

yes but stock coolers come with paste preinstalled on the base of the heat-sink. artic silver 5 is the best paste though.

My intel core 2 duo e6300 comes with a heatsink and fan. So im OK?

yep if you look on the bottom of your hsf there should be a grey paste on it unless youve already applied it then leave it as it is lol. My e6600 came with the paste preapplied on hsf but i was using a zalman 9500 so wasnt very useful.

i bought the mother board and cpu off ebay. i paid 480 canadian for it. then i had to pay 91 when it came to my door!! that SUCKS.
why is it soo much.
