Help needed with backing up Outlook email folders and settings

I want to reinstall Windows Xp soon, as I got a virus and after cleaning the computer doesn't work as smooth as before. I gives some strange erros and sometimes it justs hangs up... I want to backup Outlook Express emails and settings before reinstall, and restore afterwards. Any help?

File>Imprt/export. In there should be the things you need to backup your emails.

That file Export only works on backing up your contacts.
It also only works for exporting your email messages to Outlook.

I am currently working on a guide on how to back up your outlook and outlook express email. I should have this completed in the next 24 - 48 hours.
