Cant burn on DVD drive

Hello,

I have a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-108. It came with software for burning, but I hate it...gives me all kinds of problems. Cant find a freeware CD/DVD burning software that works...seems like whatever I download, my DVD drive doesnt want to recognize it.

Any suggestions?
