8800 GTS SLI or just one 8800 GTX?

well, i did see your stats pic, and ive decided that im sticking with the 1 8800 GTX, and maybe if the prices go down for it, ill just get another one

yes, 1 gtx is still incredibly good, and not far from dual 8800gts', i too would stick to a single gtx

I also think theres fps that can't be reached without sli. I say if you can afford it and have space to spare, go for it.

It can be a good thing in those situations, of which you pointed out. There are other options though, like selling your old card, or using EVGA's step up program.

agreed... some fps can't be reached without SLi, such as playing games with 16x QAA... i've tried it... and i've been manhandled in some games... and i know a gtx won't play it without stutter either... it's just so demanding... at least at 1680x1050 and higher...

but 16x QAA... do you really need it? lol.. i know i do... cuz i CAN tell the difference
