Which Laptop Is better, should processing speed be an issue?

I am trying to decide between these laptops for everyday home use i.e checking email...which one would you suggest and does the processing speed matter if I go with a Dual Core?

They're both pretty much the same specs, except the hard drive space. I don't know, but I hear Toshiba, make good laptops. The plus from the Toshiba is the 256mb onboard graphics, and the plus from Lenovo is the extra 20Gb hard drive space.

i like the Toshiba for the fact it's marginally lighter and has more memory available to the graphics adapter. i know they're small factors but the laptops are very similar and the same price

I would go for the Toshiba - its got a better prefix for later Upgrades - should you want to upgrade your ram the Toshiba is the better bet

as for the hard drive space, 100GB is still A LOT - the 20GB difference is hardly enough to decide against...

plus you can get an external hard drive for CHEAP these days (not that you'll need it)


and their both the same price so go for the toshiba

Ok so it seems people prefer the Toshiba. How about the fact that they both have a shared video card, should I look for something that doesn't have shared? Will I really notice a big difference in processing times?
