I usually don't ask questions about upgrading my computer because usually i am the one giving the advice but i surely don't know everything so i have 2 questions.

Which motherboard should i get? i know the gigabyte has more features, but do i really need them? i have heard that both of these motherboards are very good for overclocking core 2 duo's.


Ram-
don't know which kind to get. i want to overclock my core 2 duo d 6300 so i want some good overclocking ram. i only want 1 stick of 1gb ram. i will get another gig of ram later when i get more money. so What ram would you reccommend?

The biostar doesn't support raid. If you don't plan on raiding then the biostar should be fine.

Some g.skill ddr2-800 ram should be good enough to overclock that e6300.

what other features does the gigabyte over the biostar.

No others that I can think of....but I thought there was something else that was a stupid feature that not too many people used.

The Biostar is still a better bang for the buck in my opinion.
