okay guys My gateway laptop is slow as mallasis in january. no virues, defraged and updated but still running slow. What else can I do.

Unfortunately not a single spyware program will remove all spyware. For some strange reason each one removes certain spyware with some overlapping and some that remova a lot and some that remove a few, non that I know of that remove all. I recommed spyware doctor seems to remove the most. Same goes for virus removers and trojans too. Now there is something even more dreded called a " root kit " that plays with windows API hiding it's existence.

What are all of the things that you have running on the startup, like Yahoo Messenger, amongst all other sorts of programs?
