Rise Of Nations problem

Eerytime i try to pla a LAN game of Rise of ations at my friends house it says on his screen "waiting for Miles" (Miles being myself). I dont know why it is doing this because my copmuter can handle much more than Rise of Nations. i dont know if it could be his network cable or something else. help please!

First off how are you 2 playing, Router Hub crossover cable? I bet it hastodo with network settings and thats why your not seeing each other. Try to acces his computer and he acces yours, After that you might need to know each others IP Adresses. GL hope this helps some.
