g skill has better timing and is a better overclocker than corshair. It is also cheaper too.

Lesson of the day- Don't trust anyones opinion when they spell Corsair, CorsHair. Especially when they own a stick and it's written in every post.

G.Skill is just as good as performance as Corsair but cheaper. The only thing that Corsair has on G.Skill is the name and the outstanding customer service. In terms of performance per price G.Skill wins.

but if i ever change to c2d, i would probably go with gskill.

Yera i'm not in any way saying Corsair is bad memory. They make excellent memory for the most part but I just don't like the way they are in terms of their XMS line...i just think it's too much for the performance.
