Video Card Issues

are you sure that the cards you are putting into the AGP slot are fully inserted into the slot. Also are you sure the monitor that you are displaying to is working correctly? If those two check out try booting into safe mode. The user may have set either the refresh rate to high or the resolution to high or something like that. If going into safe mode does not work try anthing in one of the PCI slots. You may have a proplem with the south bridge.

both working cards were securly seating in the AGP slot and still nothing.

i don't know if the comp is even booting because i cannot get into safe mode. in fact i cannot even get the number lock or cap lock lights to light

Lol make sure the ram is properly seated, pull it out and put it back in.

do any fans come on? does any LEDs come on? maybe the power supply is bad.
