Outlook 2003 " You are currently working offline.,,"

We have got cluster Exchange Server 2003 at work, and we use outlook as mail client to retrieve mails.

Friend of mine when he tried to create rule for one of his recipient he keeps receiving this message :

You are currently working offline. To use this command, you must go online and connect to the Microsoft Exchange server.

When he sends, he sends manually not automatically,,,,but if he wants to receive, he has to click on " Send/Receive " button

Click on the File menu. Toward the bottom of the menu, it says Work Offline. If this is checked, uncheck it. If it's not checked, I don't know what to tell you assuming he is actually online.
