Plz Help About Computer Defragment

Hello Friends

I have PIII Syestem 40 Gb Hard Disk, and I formated Complete system and Reinstal windows xp, system is working well all drives r empty
Now plz tell me that is it Need to Defragemnt, Somebody says that after windows instalation system already defragmented no need to defragment again, is it right?

I normally defrag after all updates have been downloaded and installed. Then again after all my applications are installed. Defragging isn't a big problem, so just do it.
