So I'm buying a few upgrades for my pc. a few things i have wanted to replace for a while now and before i push the ol' " Checkout " i just wanted some advice to make sure they are the best items i can get for the price, Few things to keep in mind. I don't like ATI, the reason i have a ati is because it was a hand-me-down and was a upgrade so, for free i couldn't say no. I will take any and all advice and think it through, just please explain why it would be better than the items i have selected, don't just say " Zomg 9900GTXR_PwnSause "

And thank you for your time and help :)

for 150 bucks you could get a better case and psu combo
get a Cooler master centurion for about 60 bucks and then get a fortron 450watt for around 60bucks and use the money you save to upgrade something else

You don't need 550w's for a PSU like that. You don't even need 550 for any single GPU card. I run my 7900GS on a 450w Rosewill PSU. Look to spend around 50 bucks mayber on a 450w PSU.

Cool, I haven't bought the case / psu / fans yet so. Could anyone recommend a few from Tigerdirect.com or Newegg.com?

i will look around my self but, that's a lot of reviews i will have to read again, and having a few to pick from would narrow the list down.

Thanks

Case- $70

It's a nice case for not too much, but I believe theres a spot for an 80mm fan and it doesn't come with one so unless you have an older one just pay 3 bucks for another.

As for the PSU some people like them but I've never heard of anything too bad about them.

PSU- $52

Or If you want a few more watts and want to try a Rosewill then you could try this,

For the most part Rosewill do make pretty good PSU's. I have never heard of any blowing out systems, so if anyone else has feel free to tell me.
