sounds like you got a lil shock to the hd i would try a fix mbr in the repair console if that dont work try to find a copy of minipe and run the avast scandisk on your boot drive other than that i would use either read ntfs to backup your stuff or minipe boot disk then format ill check to see later if ya made it.

Actually am not ignoring it just been trying all your suggestions and thank you all for help got it going had to transfer everything and ended up just reformating and all seem to be working fine now.

If your computer keeps restarting before you can do anything, press F8 repeatedly until you get a menu. Choose the option that says "Disable automatic restart on system failure". Now, instead of restarting, your computer will display a blue screen of death (BSOD) with error details. Post your error or Google the stop code (0x0000008e or similar)
