Switching to the DUO, do i need a new Mobo??

hey all, at the moment my motherboard is the ASUS P5LD-2, Now this mobo is a LGA775 socket mobo using the 945G chipset, and it does have a front side bus speed of 1066/800. Now the bus speeds match up but im not to sure about the chipset, now will this mobo work with just like a bio's upgrade or do i need a new mobo?

It might work, but that mobo wont overclock much probably and they weren't made for C2D chips.

It depends on the version that you have, however, for the incompatible versions, I'm sure there is a BIOS flash around that will allow you to run a C2D on it. But I know the more expensive one does. Check the Asus website for more info.
