RE: Windows XP Pro, Start - Control Panel - Admin Tools - Computer Management - Disk Management
without knowing the good/bad about basic and dynamic disks i seem to have converted my single SATA2 320GB hard disk into a 2-partitioned dynamic disk.
i dont really understand the differences between the two as stated in the microsoft support site, but seems the only way to convert back to basic is to back-up and/or reformat.
my uses for my computer are only common, so should i just leave it as dynamic, or reformat (which is no problem)???
could anybody explain to my the uses for a dynamic disk in 'homer simpson' terms?
thanks very much.
