All right boys and girls, I need some input on a good PC build for about a grand. mouse, keyboard and monitor are not needed.

I know, I usually don't post much but quite frankly, I'm split on what to get for my buddy. he's got a budget of a grand.

so far, what I'm thinking is a quiet case with one of the new intel chips and an above average pci express card. I figure he'll need a above average build for games...unfortunately he plays too much WoW

ata hard drive? ati? nvidia 88series? dual core? core duo? need some help

Just save up a lil bit. I went from a 1200 budget to 2100 and now my computer kicks ***. It'll last me till atleast deep into 09 before i have to start upgrading anything.
