if i used my current fortron 450 will it handle my current config with a 8800 gtx i plan on getting next month? already read nitestick's psu comment, but since i have a massly overclocked psu i was wondering if it might burn out

umm how did you overclock a psu? that would be very interesting to see. it looks like the reqs for the 8 series hovers around 400 watts. so you should be ok unless you have multiple optical drives and hard drives.

If you have multiple 12V rails with at least 20A each then you'll be fine.
