Hello,

Can you tell me what is the extension of a clipart picture?
Where are the clipart stored in windows xp?

Do you mean for the clipboard? Like if you do a print screen? there is no extension for it as far as i know. It is stored just like you were copying something like text. It is stored in memory till it is pasted in paint or any other graphical application till saved.

thanks for the reply

no, i meant for the images which one inserts into powerpoint or word

Those dont have a specific extension. Nor do they have a place they can be found. Those are just images implanted into the document. They then become a part of the .doc or the .ppt. From what i remember they do not have a extension of their own.

Nor do they have a specific spot on the drive where they are stored. It is just where the picture is stored that you insert.

thanks for the reply,
i was asking about the insert - picture - clip art. i guess clip art takes all the pictures, images and just catalogs them

It would be the same for the clipart as it would for any image inserted. The clipart is just another way to insert an image or video file. So it is basically all the same.

At least from what i gather.
