How ya'll doing?

I currently have a good ol' Gateway ESX 500S desktop and was wondering if there was a way to either:

1. Completely erase the HD and start over without boot discs and/or an OS install disc?

2. Getting my hands on some boot discs for my model?

This sucker's getting old and there's too much junk on it I don't want. I just want a clean slate to start over...

Thanks in advance!

For you questions.

1. No you can not start over without an Install Disc, or a Back up disc.

2. You could probably go to Dell's website and buy the backup discs, or repair discs. I know eMachines site has them for $20, so Dell's shouldn't be too much more.

Best thing would be to just delete everything you don't want, uninstall all the programs you don't want. Then, go from there.

Yeah if you are not actually having problems, usually uninstalling your unwanted programs, running a registry cleaner and deleting things like your web browser cache will make a system like new. Don't forget the defragment your hard drive
