need some quick installation help

im trying to install windows xp professional with sp2 on my desktop. this cd worked with my dell laptop with no issues, but on my built desktop its asking me halfway thru the installation to insert windows xp professional service pack 2 cd...

Insert Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 CD into the drive selected below, and then click OK.

Copy Files from: (this is a drop box)
D:\i386

why is it asking me this? can someone help me out?

if i hit cancel it doesnt install start menu items like internet explorer and etc. and plug and play is all screwy and you cant install any usb things
