i still love my 1st generation 5 gb ipod.

Alright, 60 gigs is just total overkill for music. I dont own an iPod or any other mp3 player but there would have to be more beneficial to improve some features than to just add more space because maybe 1% of people would actually have 60 GBs of music.

Just to do the math, if your going to fill that ipod with a 60gb hard drive, your going to spend alot of money.

5120KB (Your typical mp3 size.)
62914560KB (Approxamatly 60gb.)

Thats about 12,288 mp3s, overkill is an understatment gentlemen.

yes but some people would use it as an external hard drive, then again that is bigger than my whole internal hard drive.
