mic and sound stuff broken

ok when i try to enable my mic in that sound thing it wont let me uncheck it
so i cant use my mic which ****es me off.

Also i am buying oblivion for 12 bucks from a friend. he had it for like a month played it 2 times. Will it run good on a


ati x1900xtx 512mb
pd 3.2
4 gigs of ram

and umm idk what else to say about computer

Hmmm, do you the current driver installed for your sound card, or your motherboard's onboard sound? It sounds like the computer just doesn't know that you have a mic input.

umm hmm that may be it. i have a xfi extreme music sound card if that helps u at all to no y it dont work

You're very vague in your problem description. Try elaborating rather than to give us weird clues like "sound thing".

And Oblivion will run quite well on that system, I've played it on a worse one.
