Mozilla Firefox bookmark backups

While using the computer, for no apparent eason, the Mozilla Firefox bookmark disappeared for the folder. Where would one find the folder where backups/original bookmarks be stored?

Check your

C:\documents and settings\USER NAME\Application Data\Mozilla\firefox\profile

It should be around there somewhere. Make sure you go into the Folder Options and turn on Show hidden fiels and fodlers first under the View tab.

i like to export my bookmarks every once and a while just for a back up so you have it for situations like this.

Go to Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks -> File -> Export Bookmarks

I just keep my mozilla app data folder back up, so that everytime I reinstall, I get to keep my passwords, extensions, bookmarks and addons
