got a bigger fan and temps went up

ok I went from a 80mm fan up to a 120mm fan and my temps went up instead of down. Whats up with that? any ideas on what to do

elaborate. Cpu fan or case? Is it facing the right way? More details.

Which way do you have the fan pointing? Was it an exhaust/intake and you put the new one in the opposite way that it was originaly? That's the only thing I can think of.

case fan, I decided to try something and I put my old case fan in front to suck a little more air in and I moved some wires around and now it seems to be doing better temps have gone down below where they were, thanks anyways though
