Corrupted command prompt?

ok, so essentially I have a command prompt, that when I type in select commands that USED to work before I installed Cygwin.............dont work anymore. It won't recognize the commands. Can anyone help me out? I tried uninstalling cygwin, but that didnt help. It's like cygwin took over my cmd prompt, then like corrupted it sort've.

Doesn't sound like a flame..I would reccomend a repair as well. Yep using the Windows XP CD, just boot from it and act as you were doing a new install then at one point it will detect your old OS and ask if you want to repair it. This should restore functionality.
