You can buy a new computer and build it yourself for $600. Your old computer would have it's pants scared off

Some quick suggestions.

Sound card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16829102002
I have a sound card very much like this one and it handles my 5.1 speakers flawlessly.

Graphics card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16814103004
To me this seems to be one of the better AGP cards, for a more reasonable price. There are better AGP cards out there but the lifespan of AGP is limited. Second opinion anyone?

RAM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820220079
probably some of the nicest DDR2 memory out there.

EDIT: ^^^Ditto Talldude^^^

I doubt he needs a 5.1CH sound card, he's probably using 2.0 speakers.

I think a 7900GS is better than that card.

He has DDR RAM, and I'll bet his motherboard only supports 1GB MAx.

Better Speakers than that... and yeah um.. well... I dont have the money to build a whole new awesome system!

Okay, I looked at your previous thread, and you're not very techie at all...so I'm going to hook you up with a pre-built. It will run good for what YOU use it for, everything but gaming as it has no video card and a 300W Power supply.

This computer should be okay, but I don't know much about ABS brand name; I use Acer. But for $500 including taxes, shipping, you get a really good PC, just a little underpowered on memory. You can use your old computers memory and hard drive though.

No videocard thoug. I'm tellign you, just get a x1650pro for $99, that will handle WOW fine (that's all he wants), get a 1 gig stick of ram for your other slot, that will bump him up to 1.5, perfect for WOW. Then last get a new hard drive likw a 200GB one so you can really see the performance. All he wants to play is Wow, and hes got a decent s754 cpu in the sempron 3000+, all he really needs is ram , and a videocard.
