^how can i tell if its compatible with my motherboard? a review stated that its not compat. with all am2 sockets so i was wondering.

Too bad a 5.2ghz E6600 owns everything elses life.....

Lol i'm just messing becuase I still love AMD even though its catching a beatdown, it'll catch up eventully.

No but seriously That 5.2ghz E6600 Really WILL own anything elses life.

i would reccommend core 2 duo's but i totally understand why you would go amd. they are excellent overclockers especially the optys so they are great bang for the buck.
who has a 5.2ghz E6600??

i noticed he has one core deactivated to keep it stable. i dont think that counts. if you have to cripple a chip to OC it then its not a big improvement im my book.

well i think the 5ghz OC would be a faster chip. i dont like the idea of turning off one core. why did i buy a dual core if im only going to use one.

i heard form another thread that some OC team got a P4 to 8ghz. but that only makes it comparable to mid range core2s lol.
