Made this for a friend who has a $550 budget. She's only a mild gamer and she has a 40gb hd that's not full after 6 yrs...so I'm not worried about hd space lol. What do you guys think of the parts I've chosen?

Anything you'd change, and why? Any places she can save a few bucks? Anybody here have experience with that Acer monitor? Thanks for the help.

*edit* would it be stupid to not go for the e6300? i was thinking it would be too much for this budget but i'm not sure. what do you think?

Is this what somebody is asking you do build them?

First - PSU included with case is a no-no.

The onboard video and sound is ample for anybody's needs.

The monitor is OK, but for $20 less after rebates, you can get a 19" Viewsonic.

I say get a cheaper case without a PSU in it, and buy your own PSU.

With your limited budget, you aren't fitting anything decent (video card wise), so that's the best you're getting.

actually for that build that psu will be fine
its just an antec smartpower 350watt its all good

Included psu's is usually a no-no cause they're usually crap though right? This one's an Antec Smartpower 350w, which I've heard is pretty good. No?

I know it's a smart power, I still don't like how you're paying like 70+ dollars for a case and PSU where you could probably be getting a better deal if you bought them seperately.
