Upgrade Suggestions Please!!

Ok so here is my dilemma:

I currently have the rig that is described in my signature. It works fairly well, but I am thinking of doing some massive upgrades to be closer back to the front edge of technology and have the best possible gaming experience. Let me know what you all think of the upgrade ideas compared with my current rig and whether you think it worthwhile.

Here is my possible computer upgrade list:

Silverstone TJ09-BW Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case – Retail
$304.99

Western Digital Raptor WD740ADFD 74GB 10,000 RPM Serial ATA150 HD – OEM
$159.99

EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard – Retail

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E6600 – Retail
$316.00

Total: $2,100.95 + $29.21 for shipping = $2,130.16

If I were to get this list, I would then be able to sell this list of items:

- DFI Lanparty ut nf4 ultra-d motherboard (used estimate $50-130)
- G.Skill 2GB (2x1gb) ddr400 2-3-2-5 ram (used estimate $100-150)
- AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Toledo CPU (used estimate $250-300)
- Antec Performance-TX Black Computer Case (used estimate $40-80)

Total estimate: $480-660 (guessing about $550)

So the total cost of my entire upgrade would be approximately: $1,580.16

What do you all think? Would my current PSU be able to handle 2 8800GTX's in SLI along with everything else? Would there be much of an improvement in performance over my current system? I am open to all suggestions, etc. Thanks!!

EDIT: I am thinking I might remove the HD from that list because I currently have a 74gig 10,000 rpm HD that I thought I might be able to put in raid 0 with that new one but they are different models (newegg doesn't have the one I have any more) so I don't know if I even could raid them. The only reason I would get it would be fore increased speed with raid 0. Any thoughts? If I did get it would I need some kind of raid controller? I know nothing about raid.

EDIT2: I am an OCer but have never ventured into liquid cooling, if I did this upgrade should I begin? I am very hesitant to do my first liquid cooling attempt on a system that is this expensive because I wouldn't want to fry it  your thoughts?

wow man that seems like a bit much
your case is nice but its really expensive why not get a cheaper lain lai or something?

the motherboard is useless if your not going to do sli in the future, otherwise get something like the abit aw9d max

also the ram seems much too just get some ddr2 800

everything else seems fine lol

The reason I chose those parts is largely in part due to the fact that I AM going to go SLI. I already have an 8800 GTX and would be getting that second one as a part of that upgrade list to make my SLI. I chose that ram because I would intend to OC this system preferably to at least 3.4+ ghz and would not want to have to use a memory divider. The case I chose because it had nothing but good reviews and I find that a really nice case is awsome for helping in cooling as well as ease of use in installing/upgrading parts in it. It would be something that would last forever through future upgrades/builds/etc and I love all the features I read about it.

Thanks for the thoughts, anyone else have input? I am not ignoring your suggestions I am simply stating what I was thinking when I chose the components listed. Please feel free to come back with more reasons why I should choose something else :) I am totally open to suggestions.

Here is one big question, do you guys think my OCZ GameXStream 700W PSU would be powerful enough to run my rig with 8800 GTX's in SLI? I love my PSU and it is fairly new so I would hate to upgrade but I want to be sure to have the power needed.

EDIT: also how does the 680i mobo compare with the P5B Deluxe? Over a $50 difference between the two.
