Ok, after my original thread I changed a couple things around so here's what I have now...

Case:
COOLER MASTER CM Stacker STC-T01

Processor:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600

Motherboard:
ASUS P5W DH DELUXE/WIFI-AP Intel 975X ATX

RAM:
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit

Hard Drives:
Western Digital 74gb Raptor
and
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB

PSU:
SeaSonic S12-500 ATX12V 500W

GPU:
eVGA 256-P2-N624-AR GeForce 7900GS 256MB

Sound Card:
on-board, unless you think the price difference is worth it?

Media Drives:
Pioneer 16X DVD±R DVD Burner
and
Sony Black 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM
and
NEC Black Floppy Drive

HSF:
Zalman 9500

Going to order them sometime this week, I just need your guy's final opinions. Anything you'd change? Any places I can save? Also, if you think something is overkill PLEASE LET ME KNOW! This is my first time building a computer, and even though I did some research I'm still a noob so help out if you can :)
 
actually, i think it is all a very good build. nothing is overkill, and nothing is too cheap or incompatible......and i especially like your choice of GPU, the 7900gs is a great card, have fun!
 
Anybody else think I should up the GPU?

(btw i have a 24" monitor if that changes things. also, just so you know I don't plan on going dx10 for a while..and forget my mobo question earlier, i'm getting the a5w :))
