Ok, it wasn't long ago when our laptop's AC Jack spontaneously decided to break. We had only had it 2 weeks. After a long dispute with Acer, it has been concluded that it is 'our fault'. I however beg to differ and believe it was faulty production on their behalf.
But, that's life, so now we're left with a laptop, Acer 5044 WLMi. How should we go about repairing it? We could get a new motherboard, but I think it's possible to just get an even smaller part? My knowledge of the laptop's anatomy is unfortunately very small.
Any help and or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
