I'm also wondering how well the Geil works. They seem to have a good price and they look good.

I myself would much prefer a couple sticks of 1g, no heat spreaders. Crap is expensive though. But what can I say, I'm working w/just one stick of 512 generic (I think it's generic). Hell, I think my other RAM bank is damaged anyway so I have to suffice w/what I have.

Well, the generic stuff isn't horrible and your right RAM prices are sky high lately, but if you can afford it I would go with the other stuff he showed:confused:

OK so finally i have been searching for some decent reliable RAM to get, i have a MSI K7N2 Delta ILSR mobo and the ram i ended up buying is:
Corsair TwinX 1024 MB 3200 CAS 2 ( 2 x 512MB PC3200 184 pin MATCHED PAIR DDR)
from www.scan.co.uk (http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=71473)

Is this RAM ok, i know its abit late now as ive already bought it but just for peace of mind can u let me know.

is the ram you bought dual channel?

dual channels a lot better

Only the mobo has to support Dual Channel....as long as the RAM is identical it will work in dual channel....
