$700 computer build

Not sure what to pick out for my buddy he is mainly going to use this computer for music and some games. Budget is 700 bucks here is what i thought of.

E6300
1 gig corsair ram
120GB hdd
Motherboard???
Cheap Case
fortron 400 watt psu
Vid Card???

Need some help in a few areas.

This is what I'd do...

CM Centurion 5
Intel e6300
Gigabyte DS3
Corsair 1gb Value
Seagate 320gb hd (could save here, but if he works with music he'll want space)
Geforce 7600gt
Sparkle/Fortron 400w

Total: $723
Total after rebates: $703

Might also want to throw in a DVD burner, they're around 30 bucks if he has enough.

i doubt he will be overclocking so save his money and get this...

you don't know if he will or not, and atleast with the ds3 he'd have the option of OC'ing. and it has more room for future upgrades.

well if he wanted to overclock you suggested some shitty ram DDR2533 and overclocking don't go well together

and the s3 will allow a little overclocking not much but some

the mobo you suggest tops out at 2gb ram dude. it's not gonna be long before you need more than that. all i'm saying is the ds3 is more future proof. btw, the ram i suggested wasn't based on an OC'ing rig
