Say if you are buying a high end graphics card... and you are upgrading your system... don't get the GX2 or $$$$ ati cards.. get the 8800gtx.. their aren't any bugs and you wont get anything except solid performance.

Basically don't spend more than $200 on a DX9 graphics card when DX10 is already in production!! DUH!!

Omg ive seen about 10+ people not wanting dx10 and instead buying a $$$$ Dx9 card..

!!! DX10 CARDS CAN PLAY ALL THE NEW DX9 GAMES AND DX8 GAMES JUST (IF NOT BETTER) THEN A DX9 CARD!!

Dummies..

Anyways, do your research and please try to hear us out.. we know what were talking about ;)

sorry for getting a little angry, i just have seen so many people lately making these huge dumb mistakes.

*or wait for ATI's R600...
it could be better. nvidia will prob drop their price

you can also be a dummy for spending 500 bucks for a video card.

you can also be a dummy for thinking there is a difference between 100 fps which a card now can do and 175 fps of a 8800.

you can also be a dummy for buying a card that has support for something that isnt even out and by the time it gets utilized the cards will be 1/2 the price

you can also be a dummy for thinking you know what you are talking about just for the sake of you talking about it and that other people disagree.

;)

what he is saying is your a dummie if you spend the same amount of money for a dx9 card then a dx10 card

which is true the dx10 cards perform better then the dx9 cards out there and yet people still want to spend the same amount, sometimes more, on a dx9 card

WHY?????
dont get me wrong the x1950xtx is a great card and all but the 8800gts is better and it is the same price, sometime cheaper with rebates, then the 1950xtx
and it supports dx10 so when it comes out you will already be ready

Well said, if you are a person that is building a new system or buying a new graphics card. Go for an inexpensive, but still nice, DX9 card and then when DX10 is used widely, go buy a new card. By that time, prices will have dropped tremendously.

SO WHAT IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 200 DOLLARS AND LESS THAN 350 DOLLARS, WHICH IS ABOUT THE LOWEST DX10 CARD? DO YOU JUST NOT BUY ANYTHING LOL?
