One of the clips that holds my heatsink down to the CPU on the mobo snapped off under preasure (lol was on for only maybe 7mins before it just snapped off). The heatsink is still on tight and my CPU temps are still well within very acceptable ranges (atleast thats what the sensors tell me) I was just wondering if this is a big problem? I am most certainly going to be getting another CPU cooler the replace this one when I get the money but in the mean time is it safe to keep my computer running and play games. I am pretty certain I can looking at my temps but I want a second opinion :)
Motherboard model is the "ASUS M2N-E"

Ambient room temperature is 23c

It seems to be safe to be running it, but there is one thing.

Go get a new heatsink clip.

Find an old dead board that has the same socket as yours, and unscrew the heatsink mount, and install it on your board. It will be good as new.
