If anybody is just wanting a PC to fold for Tech-Forums, surf the internet, burn a CD, or do just the basics, you can build a PC for much less than what Dell charges.

I've got the whole build here, it is pretty crappy :p
But it does work, it's AMD, and it's only $199! $354 if you need a monitor.

That's why it's a budget build, the RAM is just adequate for an old lady to surf recipies :D

Operating system? I assumed people would use 2000 or XP that they already had. I guess I forgot to add it :eek:

B00mbocks: That is a cheap build, AFTER about $100 of rebates. And that video card is a joke, it won't even power XP. Integrated video would do better.
