Better HDD?

I'm ordering tomorrow and would appreciate your opinion on which is better. One has a larger capacity and the other a larger memory buffer. Does the buffer really make a difference?

I would say go for the Seagate. They are my personal preference, and I have never had a problem with a single one. They also have a 5 year warrenty. Not sure how the difference in memory buffer would stack up. Perhaps there might be a difference if you are constantly reading/writing... I dunnon though.

Wow speedy response! Thanks i think i'll go for the seagate as i don't think i will be reading and writing that much but also because it is in stock now...

i agree with u guys!!!the seagate are excellant!!!the worst for me are Maxtor too noisy!!!now i have 1 300GB western digital!!perfect!!!
ill buy 1 250 seagate!!
