What should i get to upgrade my pc to better handle vista? I am plannign on getting the home premium version with media center, but i am goign to wit at least 3 months, my tax refund is coming in so i want tp knwo what upgrades will be most usefull. I still ahve a socket 939 rig, do you guys htink it is good enough for vista or is it too old? Because i just bought htis mobo its nf4 ultra so i thought it shoudl last me a while. What do you htink would be most usefull, me getting an opteron 165 dual core, and stayign with my 1 gig of ram, or keeping my athlon 64 and getting another 1 gig of ram to make it 2 gigs. Also my ram is ddr,s o id otn want to make the jump to core 2 duo/ AM2 yet so do you htink i'll eb fine without that newest technology? o ya and i want to kep my x1800gto videocard.
