A couple troublin issues....

I have a few questions i would like answered if possible
first: Im considering buying the dual socket motherboards from amd when they come out, will i need a processor in each socket or can i just add one later?

Second:i am lagging heavily on games like Medieval total war, rome total war and rainbow six vegas
i have determined its not my mouse thats the issue with rainbow six.
as ive tested it with several mouses.


ive got newest drivers and do not understand the continous lag

I found this following quote in an atricle talking about the 7950 gx2 performance with rainbow six.

"Also, because the game doesn't yet officially support SLI, the 7950 GX2 doesn't see the type of performance in this game that it should, and so it was omitted from our tests. We would have very much liked to have seen how quad SLI handled the game, but unfortunately we will have to wait and hope a patch or driver update will allow this."


does anyone know if they've released a patch or some kindve driver update to support sli? because if this game doesnt support sli my vid card is shiat without sli...i have patched rainbow six to its highest...
