i say go pci-e mobo.... agp is only gettting older.... and more expensive... the 7950 should be great.. it should handle WoW for ya.....

great thats awesome but is it too much for my PSU? 400W? If it is does anyone know one that is cheap. Say a 500w or so.

Heres the Video cards System Requirements:

Minimum of a 400 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 18 Amps.)
Minimum 500 Watt for SLI mode system.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 28 Amps.)
An available 6 pin PCI-E power connector (hard drive power dongle to PCI-E 6 pin adapter included with card)

Edit: The PSU has to be under 72$ ><

I found 2 PSU's i think they meet what I need. What do you guys think?

Rosewill 500w - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817182017 $64.99

Antec 500w - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103937 $69.99

Rosewill 600w - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817182032 $64.99

the 600 should be golden... and it looks good tooo... idk bc ive neverused it but from reviews looks decent

If all you want to do is play WoW at max than a 7950 is overkill. IIRC a old 9800pro is suppose to be able to max that game.

Is it wise to get an open box one?

And what do you think of the eVGA one for 260?

Edit: I cant get the monitor and the Graphics card b/c my mother baord doesnt have a PCI express slot. Do you think I should get a 7950GT and stay at 1GB of ram? or should I get a 7600GT for 120 dollars less and it has a 50$ mail in rebate which comes out to be 89.99 and then get another 1 GB of ram putting me to 2 GB?

if you're that worried, there is the Leadtek one for $245.99

I personally didn't get a warranty on my card though. And I have voltmodded it and overclocked it a lot.

*edit*

I'd recommend you go for PCI-E first of all. the monitor is less important.

However you might want to get a 22" sometime later on.

I was running on an AGP 6200 one time. I upgraded my motherboard to one with PCI-E, and got a 7900 GT (though that one died when I put it into a friend's PC)
I've got the same CPU though: a Sempron 2800+. Using the new motherboard, I have since got it to 2240MHZ (stock 1600MHZ)

yes of course. But you think a 7600GT and another GB of ram is better then a 7950GT?

I plan on playing Battlefield, WoW, CS, and Unreal Tournament Series like 2142
