Only Vista Ultimate has both the 32 Bit and 64 Bit on the DVD. Every other version you have to buy seperate.

Other than that i would say OEM.

That shouldnt be so. But i can not confirm it at this time. All i do know is that 64 Bit is on the Ultimate disc. Other than that the prices should be the same. I have not heard from anyone at M$ to say any different.

At this time i have not seen nor heard anything about the pricing being any different. All signs show that they will be the same just x86 or x64.

to my knowledge the only difference is the patch guard kernal protection.

what's the difference between the retail and oem besides the packaging that makes cheaper?

Retail can be installed zillions of times without having to buy a new copy. OEM doesn't have fancy packaging and can only be re-installed (3) times.

you can re-install OEM copies several times also. you just have to register it.

But i am confused on how the 3-pack is better than the much cheaper 1-pack.
