Safest Dust Removal....

I know the inside of my tower really needs a good dusting. What the best and safest method for doing this? Thanks.

I have a little handheld vacuum that plugs into a power outlet, has many attachments and it works great!

if its a really thick caked on layer of dust then use a vacuum, because you dont want any respiratory problems.
but i usually just use a can of compressed air or my air compressor.

do you have an example of the sort of compressed air you buy?

i asked for a can for xmas, got one, used it, but i always worry because it says its like ethane or something on the outside and says flammable...

so its like, surely i don't want the loose air around incase it sets alight?

i use a combo of vacuum, compressed air, and qtips with alcohol on them.

Compressed air is flammable to a point (if you hold a match or lighter directly to the air stream). Definetly isn't a problem for your case. Use it and make sure to blow dust out of all the fans and small compartments in the case as well.

Vacuums make static.. don't use a vacuum. Just use compressed air and maybe a tooth brush or small paintbrush.

i only use the vaccum for the psu... not the mobo
