Please help , PM8 screwed up

ok ihave a 250GB HDD in 3 partitions i just used partition magic 8 to merge 2 of them when i twas complete i closed PM so now i cant undo and the fodler containg the moved data wont open i get acces denied(not accesable)and i cant delete it, ws some important data on there i rally want back plus i cant even delete it any suggestions?

evebn a sort of data recovery software, that drive was so important i have no idea what to look for in data recovery so some help woul be nice. when i try and open the fodler containg the stuff from the old partition says "D:\BACKUPA is not accesable" "acces Denied"

i have solved the acces problem it was down to permisons but the fodler is empty is ther any way fo recovering the data
