...ofcourse it does.

You can drop a Quad Core into any existing Socket 775 motherboard, that's compatible with the current Core 2 Duos.

My bad....just thought there was a reason some motherboards listed quad cores as part of their cpu type list and others didn't.

Ok, I finally finalized my list, lol. Thanks for the help everyone.

All I need now are drives, and a good usb drive to DBAN my old hard drive (Bro took my drives already :D).

Very viable, though I think you could do better on the videocard if you dropped the processor to an E6300. You're likely to not even notice the difference on an overclocked system.

It looks good to me
nice looking KBoard btw
don't you need an OS also?
personally
I really don't think optical drives matter that much lol because they are so cheap now ($30-$40?)
I barely bother with my drives now days... game disk-> make image-> mount-> GG.
just get something with name brand and you are set.

I would get a better graphics card if I were you.
I just sold my 7600GT and got a steal on a 7900GS off eBay, stuck a VF900 on it and OC'ed the h3ll and it is a huge difference.
Definitely get a video card with 256-bit memory interface and more pixel pipes, you won't regret it.

An OS? Do people actually pay for Windows?

Um, so get the 6300 and a better video card?
