You can use Vista w/o a Dx10 card, it's just you can't use DX10, which comes with Vista.

of course you can use vista without a DX10 card 
(thats why my $400 computer is running the downloaded version.)
i just want to utilize vista in its full glory with a DX10 card when they come down

i have no idea where to begin to OC so i think the E6600 is the way to go
by the way do you guys think Corsir Dominator Pc6400 800mhz 4-4-4-12 RAM is good ?
