I have this mobo and I'm thinking about purchasing this 250GB HD.

I'm going to be using a 40GB IDE HD as my system drive and have two backup harddrives. The SATA 250 and an IDE 120 that I already have.

Will I run into any problems with doing my setup like this (Given my mobo)?

Also, would it be easy to purchase a WD Raptor (SATA) and hook that up as my primary system drive and have three backup drives... (two IDE and one SATA)?

Nope..should work fine.

Yup..I would recommend useing a SATA drive for the system..as you can then take advantage of it. If your just going to run a storage drive on the SATA....your not useing the benifits that SATA produce. (Kind of a waste)
I thought the benefits of SATA were that it transferred data faster and used smaller cables. Is this wrong? What other benefits?
