Computer is suddenly resetting itself!!! Please Help!!

I hv read ur topic & all discussions. Other members r give u some suggestions thats r good. 1st u should follow all d advice & try to resolve ur issue. But if all d tricks r failed then u may follow my tips .

(1.) At 1st u tell me about ur sys configuration in detail.(including HW brand name & specifications).

(2.) then u tell me which softwares r u using .

(3.) what is ur OS etc.

(4.) If ur problematic pc connected with net then u should send error report to Microsoft in online crash analysis system to see what they say.

1st - what does HW brand name stand for, and how can I get all the sys configurations?

2nd - I'm using all sorts of software- Itunes, Word, Maya, Bearshare, etc.

3rd - I'm using Windows XP.

It's still happening, this time with this error report:

look through those posts the best and easiest one is to delete temp files and anything in the minidump download Ccleaner found in my sig and run it it`ll clear most things.

the first thing out of those solutions Id try is this one:
"- boot up in safe mode
- delete the folder "WER1.tmp.dir00" of all the user on your computer
- delete all in c:\windows\minidump\
- go to the DOS prompt and write "chkdsk /f" it will probably ask for doing the scan on the next bootup, select "yes"
- then reboot
it solve the problem for me (for now...)"

I done that solution, but I couldn't find teh WER1.tmp.dir00 file.

I'll report if it resets again.

Well, the PC reset itself once more. Could it be a virus?

Did you run all the diagnostics I posted before? especially memtest? did all check out ok?

also what about the link I posted did you try all the suggestions in it?

I doubt its a virus but worth a try if all the above failed, look at warez monsters spyware/virus guide the link is found in my sig below.
