well I finally saved up enough cash to buy my next pc. I had originally wanted to build it myself, but when I got my last pay check, I decided that I'd go ahead and just buy one. Anyways heres the specs -

Case - Raidmax scorpio-868 mid tower atx w/ 420 psu

Processor - Intel Pentium-4 Processor 3.0 Ghz CPU 512K Cache, 800MHz FSB, Hyper Threading Ready

Motherboard - MSI 865PE Neo2-PFS(Platinum) i865PE Chip 800FSB DDR400 w/LAN, 5.1 Sound, USB 2.0 8x AGP Motherboard

Memory - 512 MB Dual Channel [256MB X2] DDR-400 PC3200

Video Card - ATI Radeon 9800-SE 128MB w/DVI + TV Out 8x AGP

Hard Drive - 120 GB HARD DRIVES Maxtor 120 GB 7200 RPM Ultra ATA-133 Hard Drive

16X dvd

52x32x52 cd-rw

ViewSonic 17" E70F+SB Perfect Flat + UltraBrite .21H DPI Silver/Black 2-Tone

CoolerMaster Musketeer System Dynamics Detector

6-In-1 Internal Flash Media Card Reader/Writer

MS XP home

I got it for about $1200. My intentions are to play Everquest II and Doom 3. Any comments on the mobo or anything else?

Thanks.

I think he means that the 9800 SE isn't as good as the 9800 XT. The one that you have is on the higher end of the mid-level spectrum (if that makes sense). Your PC actually sounds really nice overall, especially for the price. The video card *might* get in the way of Doom 3/EQ2, but you should definently wait until those games are actually released and then test them on your system before upgrading.
